Undergradate Program Advising

New students meet their academic advisors at the New Student Conference and set up their initial schedule. During following semesters students are blocked from registration until they meet with an advisor. Students must schedule an advising appointment in advance of their assigned pre-registration time. The advising appointment will allow students to meet individually with an advisor and plan their courses for the following semester. This provides an opportunity to insure all course prerequisites are being met, to discuss internships and grades, and for the department to stay in touch with students. Advisors are available to visit with students year round about any topic or situation a student faces during their academic career. To schedule an appointment with an advisor please contact Amanda Schwede using the information listed below or contact Linda Causey at lcausey@tamu.edu or (979) 845-5708. The Undergraduate Advising office is located in 202 Nagle Hall.
