Must be selected for intrinsic interest.
Objects in a museum are in an artificial setting thus they are often displayed them in a neutral environment. Museums can also create a natural environment.
Three types of treatment: 1) identified, 2) information provided, 3) interpreted.
Best to only provide few facts concerning object: what is it? When was it made? What material? Who made it? Where was it made?
