Extension

Extension is an educational organization provided by the U.S. government, the state government through Texas A&M University, and Texas county government. Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences Extension provides expertise in the areas of wildlife, fisheries, aquaculture, marine science, wildlife and fisheries related enterprises, youth and adult education, and spatial technologies for natural resource management. Our specialists, associates, and professional staff serve citizens, county extension agents, researchers, and many others in the practical use and application of research and technology for the enhancement and understanding of natural resources. We are part of the Extension team that serves every county in Texas with 250 offices and 1,400 personnel. The WFSC Extension website is designed to serve as an educational resource. It includes a searchable library of documents, information about our programs and staff, links to related websites, and information about activities and events provided through WFSC Extension.
